Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: April 1-24 Reason for coverage: Provider on leave Schedule: Monday Friday and two weekends Shift: 24 hour Call: yes Patient volume: 10-20 patients per day. Some days there is only 2 hours of work, some days there are 8 hours of work, but doctor needs to be on call in case a consult presents. Patient can hold until the morning to be rounded on. Internal Medicine hospitalist group takes care of the patients medical needs and history and physicals Scope: Inpatient rounding with nurse practitioner, 18 and up EMR: Accussis (not well known, but able to give online orientation prior to starting) Hospital: stand along Behavioral Health Hospital Group/support: Group has been doing telepsychiatry for 2 years well equipped. Other psychiatrist, behavioral health team, NPs, IMs Requirements (boards, license): Board certified or board eligible if recently trained or recently lapsed, Pennsylvania license and DEA at time of application
