If you're looking to join a mission-driven organization where your work directly empowers individuals and strengthens communities, Rafiki Coalition is the place to make a meaningful impact Job Description: The Clinic Manager for the Health Access Point (HAP) Program is responsible for the day-to-day administrative, operational, and compliance oversight of the HAP clinic. This role ensures that clinic operations run smoothly, services are delivered in alignment with program goals, and staff are supported to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care. The Clinic Manager serves as a key liaison between clinical staff, operations, and leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinic OperationsOversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, space utilization, and coordination of servicesEnsure clinic policies, procedures, and workflows are implemented consistently and effectivelyIdentify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient experienceOversee operational workflows for specimen collection services, including finger-stick testing, oral swabs, and other point-of-care screening proceduresEnsure appropriate space setup, privacy, infection control standards, and patient flow for specimen collection activitiesCoordinate supply management for testing materials, sharps containers, biohazard disposal, PPE, and related equipment Program & Administrative ManagementSupport implementation and ongoing administration of the HAP Program in alignment with organizational goals and grant or funding requirements, if applicableMaintain accurate program documentation, reports, and recordsCoordinate with leadership on program planning, timelines, and deliverables Staff Coordination & SupervisionSupervise and support clinic administrative staff and, where applicable, non-licensed program staffAssist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance support for clinic team membersFoster a collaborative, respectful, and mission-aligned clinic cultureMonitor proper labeling, storage, transport, and chain-of-custody procedures for specimens in accordance with regulatory and laboratory requirements Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030), federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including California health, privacy, and workplace requirementsSupport and maintain adherence to confidentiality, documentation, and record-keeping standardsServe as a point of contact for operational issues related to audits, inspections, or compliance reviewsMonitor proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of biohazous waste and sharps in accordance with state and local requirements Client & Community EngagementSupport a welcoming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive clinic environmentAddress client concerns or operational issues in collaboration with clinical leadershipCoordinate with internal departments and external partners as needed to support service delivery Financial & Resource OversightAssist with budget tracking, purchasing, and resource allocation for clinic operationsMonitor supplies, equipment, and facility needs to ensure continuity of services Requirements: REQUIREDBachelor's degree in health administration, public health, social services, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinic, healthcare, or human services operationsDemonstrated experience in administrative and operational managementStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of confidentiality, privacy, and compliance standards applicable to healthcare or behavioral health settingKnowledge of OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and infection prevention protocolsExperience overseeing clinical safety compliance in a healthcare or community clinic setting PreferredExperience working in community-based, behavioral health, or integrated care settingsSupervisory or team-lead experienceFamiliarity with grant-funded or program-based servicesExperience working in culturally diverse and mission-driven organizations Additional Information: Work Environment & Physical RequirementsMay work in environments where exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) is possibleMust follow universal precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipmentAbility to respond to clinical safety incidents in accordance with established protocols Application Instructions: Please provide:An Updated ResumeCover Letter describing:Your experience managing clinic operations in regulated healthcare settings, including oversight of specimen collection or biohazard-related workflows,How you ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.And, briefly explain why Rafiki Coalition's mission and community-centered approach align with your professional values.
