Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures; Specifically Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Plastics. This role requires a strong focus on patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in anesthesiology, physiology, and airway management, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This will be a Full-time benefitted position between our 2 ASC's in the Eugene area and 1 in Roseburg. Mon-Friday with weekends off. Compensation is dependent on experience. ResponsibilitiesAdminister anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout the procedure. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Perform airway management techniques as necessary. Document medical information accurately in electronic health records (Epic) and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Provide pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia care to ensure patient safety and comfort. Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Manage patients across various demographics, including geriatrics, ensuring tailored approaches to their unique needs. SkillsProficient in airway management techniques and patient care best practices. Strong knowledge of physiology related to anesthesia administration. Experience with electronic medical record systems for efficient documentation. Familiarity with anesthesiology protocols and procedures. Ability to administer injections safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
