Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist (Full Time) – IGO Medical Group Location: La Jolla / UTC, San Diego, CA Position: Part-Time (Flexible schedule) Department: Women’s Health IGO Medical Group , a highly respected OBGYN practice in San Diego, is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary women’s health team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about pelvic health, patient education, and delivering exceptional, empathetic care in a collaborative outpatient environment. About the Role The Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist will work directly with our OBGYN providers and support staff to deliver individualized, patient-centered pelvic floor therapy to women across the lifespan—including postpartum, peri-menopausal, post-menopausal, and patients with pelvic pain, incontinence, and core dysfunction. This is a part-time, in-office role with scheduling flexibility. Ideal for therapists seeking stable, consistent hours within a supportive clinical team—no high-volume clinic model, no insurance chaos, no productivity quotas. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pelvic floor evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide internal and external pelvic floor therapy tailored to patient needs Treat conditions such as stress/urge incontinence, pelvic pain, dyspareunia, prolapse, diastasis recti, and postpartum recovery Educate patients on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications Document patient encounters clearly and timely within the EMR Collaborate with OBGYN providers, MAs, and administrative staff to coordinate care Maintain clinical standards aligned with APTA and California practice guidelines Participate in occasional team meetings, patient education events, or workshops as needed Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree Valid California Physical Therapist license Specialized training or certification in pelvic floor physical therapy required Experience in women’s health strongly preferred Excellent communication, professionalism, and patient rapport Comfort with hands-on, patient-centered care in a private practice OBGYN setting Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team Schedule & Compensation Full Time Pay Range: Competitive and based on pelvic floor experience No nights, weekends, or on-call Discounted/self-pay rate options for additional elective wellness services Why Join IGO Medical Group?
