Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A contract opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to support school settings in Murrieta, CA. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, aiding their development and success within an educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and direct services to students in the school setting. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Document therapy sessions and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and school district requirements. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights. Maintain adherence to ethical standards and professional practices. Qualifications and Experience: Current licensure as an OT or COTA. Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred. Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and school-related disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
