The shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The estimated patient ratio is 1:5. Rotating holidays are required. Candidate may be required to float within equivalent or lower levels of acuity. Daily census is around 20 patients. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit supports patients recovering from stroke and general rehabilitation needs. Special procedures are performed on high acuity rehab beds with telemetry. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various specialty teams. Familiarity with high-acuity rehabilitation, telemetry monitoring, and wound care is preferred.
