We areseeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide night and weekendcoverage in a community emergency department in Jackson, Ohio. The physicianwill work in a collaborative environment with access to specialty consultantswhile managing a moderate patient volume. Schedule Shift Options: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Coverage Needed: Nights and weekends Weekend Requirement: Yes On-Call: Not required EmergencyDepartment Details Annual ED Volume: 18,527 visits Average Patients Per Shift: 15-20 per provider Total ED Beds: 11 Fast Track: Yes EMRSystem Allscripts / Paragon Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and specialty consultants Document patient care accurately within the EMR system Ensure timely patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified through ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Ohio medical license Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Medicine experience Current certifications required: ACLS ATLS BLS PALS NRP COVID-19 vaccination required Jacksonis located in southern Ohio and offers a welcoming small-town environment withaccess to scenic outdoor recreation and regional parks.
