Corporate Development Analyst The Corporate Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic growth through advanced financial modeling, with primary responsibility for building and maintaining pricing models for individual deals. This includes analyzing deal economics, evaluating profitability, and supporting commercial activities and decision-making. The role also contributes to broader strategic planning, business analysis, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance organizational performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibility: Deal Pricing & Financial Modeling Build and maintain financial models for pricing individual deals, incorporating assumptions, cost structures, revenue drivers, and risk variables. Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to evaluate deal economics and develop pricing recommendations and commercial strategy based on customer drivers Assess profitability, sensitivity impacts, margin implications, and return expectations for new and renewal contracts. Develop standardized pricing tools and frameworks to improve consistency and decision-making. Continuously refine pricing models based on updated cost structures, performance metrics, and market dynamics. Prepare executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards that communicate key findings and proposals. Strategic Planning & Corporate Initiatives Support the company's long-range strategic planning processes through financial and market analysis. Evaluate strategic projects, partnerships, and operational initiatives for feasibility and impact. Conduct industry, competitive, and market research to inform leadership decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely internally and externally with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to enable data-driven decision-making. Support post-deal performance tracking, including monitoring margins, KPIs, and benefit realization. Assist in coordinating strategic projects with cross-functional teams. Qualification/Requirements: Technical Skills Financial modeling excellence strong command of pricing and economic evaluation. Expert-level Excel skills (pricing models, sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling). Strong PowerPoint capabilities for presenting recommendations. Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize insights. Soft Skills Proven interpersonal skills that support business relationships internally and externally. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with high attention to detail. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments. Proactive problem-solver with strong business judgment. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CFA, CPA) are a plus. 14 years of experience in pricing analytics, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or similar quantitative roles.
