Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. This position qualifies for hiring incentives. The amount of incentives offered may be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients Requirements: Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems IA RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply Schedule: 72 hours a pay period Straight nights - self scheduling 12 hour shifts 6:30p-7a The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
