St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital is looking for a Locum OB/GYN for call coverage from May 1, 2024-Jan 1, 2025! Practice Setting: Office/Clinic, In house OB hospitalist, and OB GYN call coverage Reason for Coverage: Very limited number of board certified OB GYN's who can take the call and 1 provider going on leave Schedule: 12 or 24 hour blocks when in house Call Schedule: Call coverage for OB GYN is 1 week minimum per month Total Number of Beds: 12 LDRs; 300 births per month Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 25 in office practice Number of Physicians in Practice: 2 Will Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates (List Names): Yes How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 5 Number of Exam Rooms: 4 Number of Exam Rooms: 4 Onsite Lab? Yes Onsite Ultrasound? Yes Describe Office Equipment: Typical OB GYN office in a new space Describe Support Staff: MA, front office scheduler, midwives What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 30% What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 50% What Percentage of Practice is GYN: 25% Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day (If Applicable): 3-4 What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 32% Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 5 Nursery Level: III Documentation System/EMR: Epic Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 Board Requirements: Board Certified Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? Yes Certification Requirement: BLS, NRP Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.) FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery -Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery -C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc. VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures: Office/Minor Gynecology -IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical Gynecology - Open Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor, Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: as soon as possible Facility will reimburse: Flight and hotel Requirement description : Board Certification - Required Active OH License - Highly Preferred BLS, NRP - Required CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : BLS NRP Board Certified Weekend Requirements : As part of the schedule On Call Requirements : 12 or 24 hour blocks when in house
