As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will employ the nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation—to deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient care based on the area(s) assigned, while addressing the unique age-appropriate needs of all patients. In this role, you will follow established nursing philosophies, policies, and procedures to create individualized education and care plans for each patient while providing essential support to their families. You will utilize your knowledge and judgment to lead ancillary staff in delivering compassionate care. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring customer satisfaction across all interactions (patients, families, physicians, and others), safeguarding patient confidentiality, and being mindful of the comfort, privacy, and individual care needs of your patients. You will be required to complete annual competency requirements specific to your area of responsibility.
