Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support student development within educational settings. This role involves providing therapeutic services that enhance students' functional abilities, promoting independence and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse learning environments and student needs. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required. Travel to multiple school locations within the Springfield area to deliver services. Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in pediatric or school-based settings. Strong knowledge of therapeutic strategies applicable to educational environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships. Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to individual student progress. Flexibility and willingness to travel locally as part of service delivery. Commitment to supporting students' developmental and educational goals. Location: Springfield, Massachusetts - services provided across regional schools with required travel.
