Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Ukiah ,CA,USA Department/Unit: ICU Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour Shift: Day Shift, 5 AM to 5:30 PM, 12 hours, 36 - 48 hours per week. Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Ukiah, CA, USA The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with critically ill patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments. Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and health management. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of California HIH (stroke) Pals, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
