Opportunity Details: Anesthetic management for patients requiring surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Supervision of CRNA staff, residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists in the clinical area. Ongoing participation in the Departmental Quality Assurance program. Membership in appropriate committees, as requested by the Chief of Service and/or Chairperson. Clinical resource for all levels of trainees. Participation in the didactic portion of resident, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students' educational programs. Time not spent in direct patient care will be devoted to appropriate administrative, educational, and/or research activities. Participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills. CRNA:MD ratio is 2:1 with supervision. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine Completed residency training in an accredited program within Anesthesiology License to practice medicine in the State of New York Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $421,000(board eligible); $431,000(board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $560,000 (board eligible) and $570,000 (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
