Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Outpatient) Location: Oceanside, CA Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 AM - 6:30 PM); Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Tuesday off) Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements Job Responsibilities: Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to pediatric patients and adolescents. Evaluate, assess, and treat children with feeding and eating difficulties, including sensory and mild oral motor challenges. Develop, implement, reassess, and update individualized plans of care. Perform demonstrations, caregiver education, and discharge planning. Utilize feeding techniques, sensory diet programs, and activities of daily living interventions. Document evaluations, treatments, reassessments, and outcomes using EPIC. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary pediatric care team, including interpretation services as needed. Participate in monthly team meetings as scheduling allows. Required Skills & Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience Pediatric outpatient experience Experience with pediatric feeding techniques and eating difficulties Experience working with children with autism Sensory diet program experience Active California Occupational Therapy license NBCOT certification BLS certification EPIC charting experience (preferred) Brief written statement outlining pediatric feeding experience required at submission Ability to work flexible scheduling within a 4x10 structure Must be a non-local candidate First-time travelers accepted HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31789603.
