Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Location: Asheville, NC Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse provides leadership, facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being, and utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching. The role implements medically prescribed interventions. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Health entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval. Preferred Education: master's in nursing Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, the licensee should confirm with NCBON. Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider. Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in the area of specialty Required Experience: 1-year perioperative experience as Registered Nurse. Exception: No prior perioperative experience is required if a Perioperative Fellowship Program is completed. Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of perioperative experience. Serve as Preceptor with associated accountabilities. Successful completion of the Perioperative Fellowship Program. General Comments: Candidates for consideration must have direct CVOR experience. Over 700 beds possibly continuing to grow Compensation: Salary range from min: $24.00 per hr.; mid: $33.83 per hr; max: $43.65 per hr based on years of experience. Shift Differentials: 2nd: $4.00 per hr; 3rd: $6.00 per hr; Weekend: $3.50 Sign-on bonus/relocation assistance available - up to $15K for qualified candidates with a 2-year commitment. Shifts: 12-hour shifts - Day shifts, rotating weekends 6am-6:30pm Pay Range: $24.00 - $43.65 per hour
