US Export Manager The US Export Manager is responsible for steering all export related activities for the United States, acting as the central authority on compliance, logistics, and documentation. In this role you will develop and execute a comprehensive export strategy that align with program objectives, while leading a cross functional team of logistics, compliance, and documentation specialists to ensure seamless end to end shipment processes. You will oversee the preparation of export paperwork (commercial invoices, Electronic Export Information, certificates of origin, etc.) and manage customs clearance to guarantee timely delivery. By maintaining strict adherence to U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and sanctions programs, you will protect the company from regulatory risk. The position also requires close coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments (engineering, finance, legal) to optimize shipping routes, control costs, and resolve any export related issues. Through regular performance tracking, goal setting, and reporting to senior leadership, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure that the export function supports the organization's global operations effectively. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. AeroSCM Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience managing export operations, preferably in aerospace/defense or high tech industries. In depth knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) and customs procedures. Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills. Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; comfortable working with global customers and government agencies. US Customs Brokerage License This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
