Mortgage Clerk - Mortgage Department (Main Branch) Location: 1500 NW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33172 Pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour Summary: Performs a wide range of administrative duties related to post-closing of residential mortgage loans. Maintains contact with external and internal customers to ensure workflow deadlines are met. Duties & Responsibilities: Review of closed mortgage files verifying accuracy of documents. Review of recorded mortgages and title policies and file original documents. Upload all documents pertaining loan into members database and our loan originating site, TruHome. Review of insurance documents, forward to Allied and TruHome as applicable, and contact insurance agents to change mortgage clause. Prepare satisfaction of mortgages, obtain appropriate signatures, and record document with county. Assist in the closing, funding, and post-closing of 1st mortgage and home equity loan requests in accordance with DCFCU policies and procedures. Organize and send mortgage files to storage and verifying pertinent documents are uploaded in members database or in skinny file as needed. Additional tasks and projects as assigned by management. Requirements: Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Experience in mortgage/lending administrative duties a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be proficient in Word/Excel applications. Excellent service, interpersonal and team skills a must. Minimum high school diploma, Bachelor's Degree a plus. 1 year administrative or mortgage/lending experience preferred or combination of experience, education and training. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. Required SAFE ACT NMLS Registry active and in good standing or ability to obtain registration upon commencement of employment.
