Job Details (Travel Healthcare Contract) Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Nursing Assistant Healthcare Setting: Hospital (Inpatient) Employment Type: Travel Contract (W2) Start Date: 03/02/2026 End Date: 06/01/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Schedule: 12-hour nights Shift Pattern: 3x12 nights Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 5 Weekly Estimated Pay: $710-$760 Qualifications & Job Requirements Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific equivalent accepted where applicable) Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience Current BLS (CPR) certification Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with reliable attendance and punctuality Knowledge of safe patient handling, infection prevention, and fall prevention best practices Ability to document patient care accurately and follow HIPAA/privacy standards Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary care team Key Responsibilities (Bedside Patient Care) Provide routine patient care under RN supervision, supporting comfort, safety, and daily needs Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning Monitor and report changes in patient condition; escalate concerns to the RN promptly Promote a safe environment by using safe patient handling techniques and reporting hazards Support unit safety initiatives related to slips/trips/falls, infection control, and maintaining a safe work environment Document care provided per facility standards and communicate patient needs to the care team Support nutrition-related workflows as assigned, including assisting patients with menu selections aligned to prescribed diets and updating diet changes in the menu system Perform clerical/coordination tasks as needed (e.g., phones, faxing, filing, reports) to support unit operations Participate in in-services and follow facility guidelines for professional appearance, teamwork, and service excellence Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel CNA career with a hospital night-shift assignment in Columbus, OH (43201).
