Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU: Serve as a clinical leader in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, guiding advanced practice and improving critical care outcomes. Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shifts Mentor nursing staff and lead comprehensive training and orientation programs to enhance skills and clinical competencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and optimize CVICU protocols. Spearhead quality improvement projects to advance patient care standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Design and execute innovative clinical programs and initiatives, focusing on staff development and patient education. Act as an advocate and liaison for patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure superior care delivery. Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU Qualifications: CNS Certification required. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) strongly preferred. Proven experience training staff and conducting nursing orientation programs. Relevant CVICU experience required.
