Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Saco, Maine

Schedule/Hours: Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each) Variable days and night shifts No call or block scheduling required Every other weekend scheduled Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license required Previous experience exclusively in Medical-Surgical nursing Telemetry experience preferred ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications mandatory Compliance with Maine State flu vaccine mandate Key Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care within a medical-surgical unit Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members Maintain adherence to hospital policies, including accurate timecard submission in line with provided guidelines This contract position provides a chance to build on your Med-Surg expertise in a well-established healthcare environment, supporting patients through critical periods with compassion and skill.
