Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing. The unit is high volume, consisting of 38 beds with an additional 5 fast track rooms and an internal waiting area. There are 4 behavioral health swing rooms and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms. While not a designated trauma facility, the unit handles high acuity cases. Candidates should be comfortable providing care for pediatric patients. This position requires a commitment to working every other weekend and every other holiday.
