Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 48 guaranteed hours per week Every other weekend schedule required No call requirements Float as needed within facility 2 years of acute recent care experience required High-acuity and cardio experience is a must Patient ratios: 1:4-5 during days, 1:5-6 during nights Work with equipment including IVs, PCA pumps, epidurals, ketamine drips, wound vacs, chest tubes, central lines, PICCs, and specialty beds Manage complex wounds, burns, trauma patients, tube feeding, and various drains Use EPIC electronic medical record system BLS certification required Must complete online education modules Any color scrubs acceptable in fragrance-free environment No headphones, hoodies, open-toe shoes, gel polish, or artificial nails permitted Must be quick learner, team player, flexible, adaptable, and accountable Facility: This healthcare facility features a fast-paced, high-acuity medical surgical telemetry unit with 44 beds plus overflow capacity and 6 embedded IMC beds. The unit specializes in caring for high-acuity cardio and medical telemetry patients, providing comprehensive post-operative care and managing complex medical conditions.
