Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to the following patient populations: adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test-out will be given during the first week of the assignment. This must be passed in order to work in the ICU-CCU unit. The unit uses Cerner EMR. Floating to other units is expected. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:3-4. Every other weekend rotation is required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
