With a strong referral base of primary care physicians and rising patient demand this is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact in an outpatient setting. Our team-oriented culture is designed to support exceptional patient care while respecting the importance of time outside the office. _Responsibilities of the position include:_ - Diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases - Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans - Educating patients and families about conditions and treatment options _EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_ - Proof of eligibility to work in the United States - Clean background and criminal record - Familiarity with an Electronic Health Record EHR preferred _CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS:_ - Graduate of an accredited Medical or Osteopathic Medical School - Completion of an appropriate residency program - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology - Must be able to obtain staff privileges at affiliate regional medical centers - Licensed or eligible for State of Connecticut physician license - Eligible for Connecticut Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate _Job Type:_ Full-time _Schedule:_8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to Friday _Work:_ Location In person Job Type: Full-time Benefits:Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insurance Work Location: In person
