Sr Assistant To The SVP Of Product For Small & Medium Business And Financial Services (SMB & FS) This job provides multi-faceted support to management, ensuring the smooth operation and support in daily activities. It is responsible for managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Additionally, the Sr Assistant will prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring all documents are accurate and professionally formatted. The role supports the SVP of Product for Small & Medium Business and Financial Services (SMB & FS) a global product organization responsible for designing and delivering PayPal's integrated commerce, payments, and financial tools that help merchants grow and consumers manage their money. Essential Responsibilities: Proactively manages the calendar of the executive independently with no guidance. Performs administrative duties such as expenses, complex travel, distribution lists, and ordering supplies following general guidelines. May act as a delegate in internal systems on behalf of the executive. Coordinates meeting & event logistics with minimal guidance. Provides guidance to other assistants within their organization. May assist in confidential communications; exercises a high degree of discretion while handling confidential matters. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of relevant work experience Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications: Owns and strategically manages the SVP's calendar with minimal direction in accordance with exec priorities, and with an understanding of business priorities, cross-department interdependencies, and enterprise objectives, aligning administrative execution with strategic outcomes. Manages logistics and ensures thorough preparation for key meetings and events. Serves as a trusted partner and gatekeeper, triaging requests, escalating urgent matters, and balancing the needs of a broad, cross-functional stakeholder network. Exercises sound judgment, discretion, and maturity when handling sensitive information and navigating high-stakes or ambiguous situations. Independently coordinates complex domestic and international travel, developing detailed itineraries and agendas, and manages expenses in compliance with company policy. Acts as a communication liaison to facilitate the efficient flow of information between the SVP, their team, partners, and others. Demonstrates deep knowledge of company policies, processes, and tools. Interprets and applies policies to guide decisions and ensure operational excellence. May act as a delegate for the SVP within some of these tools. Partners with other teams to streamline workflows, drive process improvements, and support adoption of new tools or systems. Operates with high autonomy, anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, preventing bottlenecks, and bringing forward solutions that increase executive leverage.
