Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for ensuring smooth office operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients, visitors and research staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet and check-in patients, visitors, and research participants in a friendly and professional manner. Answer questions regarding site location, services, programs, fees, payments and registration. Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or team member. Schedule patient appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and manage calendars. Verify patient information, update records, and assist with document management. Handle general office duties such as filing and data entry. Perform clerical work. Disseminate information to research staff. Coordinate the daily administration of doctors, staff, visitors, and patients at a research site location. Answer phones and in-person patient inquiries. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and conduct. Strictly adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, required. Additional administrative or healthcare-related certifications (preferred). Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting. Strong administrative, organizational, and planning skills, required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred. Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor. A proven ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
