Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for construction projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project planning. Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for precise estimations. Evaluate and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor project costs and provide updates to the management team. Prepare reports and maintain records of project estimates and costs. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques. Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimation and project management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
