Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Seeking an additional Physician Assistant to join our busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department near Champaign, IL.Opportunity Details: Full-time position Variable/rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) 4 weekend-shifts per 4-week block APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers No EM Residency Program Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5 Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year 24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery 1-2 years APP experience preferred Compensation/Benefits: The compensation range for this position is $63.72 - $82.84/hour Health/dental/life insurance 403-B plan with employer match LTD Relocation allowance CME allowance Paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage The Community: Living and working in this central Illinois town offers a balanced lifestyle with a mix of small-town comfort and access to big-city amenities.
