Located along the shores of Chatham, Massachusetts, Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five-Star resort, stands as a timeless beacon of hospitality, blending rich history with modern luxury on 25 oceanfront acres. With over a century of heritage, the Inn has captivated visitors with panoramic ocean views, impeccable service, and a commitment to preserving the essence of New England charm. The Inn has 217 rooms and suites, from the historic Main Inn to dozens of cottage-style buildings with flower-lined brick walkways and breathtaking views. Chatham Bars Inn is one of Cape Cod's most beloved destinations for family vacations, romantic getaways, and corporate retreats. Guests of the Inn are able to experience a series of authentic, first-hand Cape Cod experiences such as private cabana rentals along the Inn's private quarter-mile beach, an oceanfront pool, complimentary bike rentals, private bonfires, tennis courts, a full-service spa, and supervised Kids Crew sessions. The nearby 8-acre Chatham Bars Inn Farm provides the Inn's restaurants with over 100,000 pounds of produce seasonally and offers popular outdoor farm-to-table dinners at the farm each week. Beyond its picturesque setting and luxurious accommodations, Chatham Bars Inn is renowned for its culinary program. The resort has six different dining options, each offering a unique culinary experience showcasing the freshest local ingredients and innovative flavor. Guest Relations Lobby Attendant The Guest Relations Lobby Attendant is a highly visible, guest-facing role responsible for delivering superior customer service throughout the resort's lobby and public areas. This position serves as a welcoming point of contact for guests, providing real-time assistance with dining reservations (on and off property), daily activities, resort amenities, spa and recreation offerings, hours of operation, and information about the town and greater Cape Cod area. Using a tablet, the Guest Relations Lobby Attendant ensures guests feel informed, supported, and cared for while upholding the service standards of Chatham Bars Inn. Responsibilities: Maintain a constant presence in the lobby and designated public areas, proactively engaging guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner. Assist guests with dining reservations both on property and in town, utilizing available systems and local knowledge to provide accurate recommendations. Provide detailed information on daily resort activities, experiences, recreation options, spa services, and special events. Communicate hours of operation for all resort outlets, amenities, and services, ensuring guests have clear and up-to-date information. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the town of Chatham and the greater Cape Cod area, including attractions, transportation, shopping, and dining. Use a tablet to access schedules, make reservations, confirm availability, and share visual or digital information with guests as needed. Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort amenities, experiences, and seasonal offerings to confidently answer guest questions. Coordinate with other departments as needed to assist with guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience. Monitor lobby and public areas for guest needs, service opportunities, and overall presentation. End-of-shift communication with management as needed regarding guest feedback, recurring questions, or operational updates. What are we looking for? Qualifications: Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a polished, welcoming demeanor. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information to guests. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and enjoys frequent guest interaction. Comfortable using tablets and digital systems to access information and assist guests. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in guest relations, concierge, front desk, hospitality, or luxury resort environments. Strong knowledge of Cape Cod, Chatham, or similar resort destinations. Experience providing recommendations, making reservations, or coordinating guest experiences. Background in customer-facing roles requiring professionalism, multitasking, and high service standards. $20.00 / hour - $21.00 / hour Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
