Schedule Nights, 20:00 - 08:00 Job Description The competent Nurse, in a clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Provides routine and complex care while developing long-range goals and coping with the contingencies of clinical nursing. Responsibilities Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Addressees increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given. Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
