Opportunity: RN - Post Anesthesia Care Job Details: Night position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Work in 23-hour overnight stay unit specializing in Cardiac Cath/EP TAVR procedures 48 hours per week preferred, 36 hours acceptable Scheduled every other weekend (Saturday day shifts) Every other weekend call requirements and rotating call duties Must float to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU as needed 3 years PACU experience with recent years required Must have ICU experience and Trauma Level 1 experience Prior travel experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must be able to read tele strips and manage cardiac drips Handle pre and post procedure TEE/CV/CATH/EP OR procedures Provide Phase 1 care with patient ratios of 2:1 (up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay) Work with patients having Cath/EP/TEE Cardioversion OR procedures, vascular procedures, robotic TAVRS, and pediatric CATHs Manage groin management, EKGs, IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, A lines, and tele monitoring Complete online education modules and unit orientation as needed Any color scrubs acceptable, must be fragrance-free No artificial nails or cell phone use permitted Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive perioperative department with 40 pre-post beds and 9 overnight bays featuring a 23-hour short stay unit.
