Details Position is in the ICU of an acute care hospital Level 3 Trauma Center with 171 staffed beds Day and night shifts available, 3x12 hour shifts per week Patient ratios typically 1:2, occasional 1:3 Required to work at least 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period Float required to Med Surg or ER depending on census Central line and ART line management performed in unit Top procedures and cases include CRRT, cardiac surgery, vent management, and multiple drip management Unit uses Epic EMR and experience is required Requirements Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Documented EPIC charting experience is mandatory with recent use At least one previous successful travel assignment with no performance or attendance issues required Three years' hospital experience preferred Must provide one reference from a manager or unit supervisor in the relevant specialty within the last year Basic dysrhythmia training required Modules required for completion before start date Additional Information Duties include hemodynamic monitoring, respiratory failure management, central line setup, and management of complex critical care patients No on-call required No first-time travelers accepted No block scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accommodated Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers Maximum 5 days RTO per 13 week assignment, no holiday RTO allowed No additional RTO permitted after submission or while on contract Scrub color varies by unit Free parking available Comprehensive zero-fault attendance policy strictly enforced American Traveler Job ID P-664345.
