Locum PA / NP - Occupational Medicine

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a ???Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine in Chesapeake, VA. This is a locum position with competitive salary and travel allowance Job Details: Start Date: February 7, 2025, with ongoing needs. Reason for Coverage: To support two full-time providers during time off or vacancies. Practice Setting: Occupational Health. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to close (typically 4:30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries). Average Patients Per Day: 8-10. EMR System: Systoc. Exam Rooms: 5. On-Site Team: Includes RNs, RTs, MAs, LPN, RN Supervisor, Office Manager, and PSRs. Required Duties: Pre-Employment Physicals. Return-to-Duty Testing. DOT Physicals. Workers' compensation injury care. Pay and Benefits: $70 - $85 per Hour with Malpractice Insurance Travel Reimbursement: ~$150/night lodging cap. Requirements: Board Certification: Required. Licensure: Active Virginia license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DOT certification required. Availability: Must be noted at the time of submission, with preference for providers who can cover all dates.
