Job Details - Travel CNA / Hospital CNA Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospital Setting (Travel Contract) Location: Avon, OH 44011 (Cleveland area / Northeast Ohio) Assignment Type: Travel Contract (On-site) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: March 23, 2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $710 - $760 Shift: 12 Hour Days; 3 shifts per week (Day shift) Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 5 CNA positions available Keywords: Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA jobs, hospital CNA, travel CNA, Cleveland nursing jobs, healthcare jobs Job Requirements - CNA Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and current state registry (as required) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain if required by facility Minimum of 2 years hospital experience ; inpatient rehab experience preferred Strong knowledge of infection prevention, fall prevention, and hospital safety practices Excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting Ability to follow RN direction, unit workflows, and facility policies including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards Responsibilities - Hospital CNA Duties Provide routine patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) under RN supervision Support patient mobility and safety using safe patient handling and transfer techniques Participate in infection prevention and fall prevention initiatives and basic patient assessments as directed Accurately document care delivered and report changes in patient condition per hospital policy and EHR guidelines Assist with meal service and dietary needs: menu management systems, meal selection support, tray preparation, and delivery Update diet changes, validate menu labeling, and maintain nourishment documentation as needed Communicate patient care and food service issues to nursing, dietary, and other healthcare team members Perform clerical and support tasks for Food & Nutrition as assigned (faxing, answering phones, filing, printed reports) Maintain supplies, attend in-services/department meetings, and assist with food service support or catering when needed Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and efficient unit operations Why apply?
