Delivery Driver At Chick-fil-A 104th & May, Delivery Drivers exists to "Win Hearts Everyday" by delivering craveable food. This role ensures that every delivery is safe, accurate, and timely while providing genuine hospitality beyond the restaurant's four walls. Drivers represent the Chick-fil-A brand in the community and support the restaurant by upholding operational excellence, professionalism, and care in every interaction. Essential Functions: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restriction Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Ability to work in all weather conditions per OSHA guidelines Must have a smartphone with an active data plan and GPS capability Consistently follow all Chick-fil-A Pathway training and operational procedures Perform duties in compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation standards Operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining professionalism Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, in order to provide clear instructions, understand and respond to customer needs, interact with team members and leadership, and accurately follow operational procedures Key Responsibilities: Carry out Chick-fil-A 104th & May's Vision to Invest, Impact and Influence Safely deliver orders to guests in an accurate and timely manner Provide excellent guest service upon delivery, demonstrating professionalism and hospitality Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety and Pathway procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment Communicate effectively with leadership and guests regarding delivery status Represent Chick-fil-A 104th & May in the community with integrity and care Cultural Competencies: Professionalism respectful, reliable, and positive Work Ethic diligent, urgent, and dependable Integrity does the right thing, even when unsupervised Servanthood prioritizes guests and teammates over self Team Norms respect time and people, avoid gossip, listen with purpose, act with grit, lean into accountability, willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and focus on solutions not the problem Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license in good standing (pass SambaSafety check) Smartphone with data plan and GPS capability Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Chick-fil-A Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
