ABOUT THE CLIENT Our client is a premier, Dallas-based General Contractor that has spent over a decade redefining excellence in the construction industry. They have established themselves as a trusted leader in the Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, and Interior sectors. They approach every project from groundbreaking to ribbon-cutting with intentionality, integrity, and a relentless drive to create spaces that matter for the people and communities they serve. They are currently looking for a Project Manager or an Assistant Project Manager to take the step into a more senior role. ABOUT THE ROLE Lead the full project lifecycle for commercial, hospitality, and industrial projects within the North Texas market. Direct all phases of the construction process, including procurement, scheduling, field operations, and quality control. Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure site safety and adherence Manage project P&L, including budget development, monthly forecasting, and cost tracking. Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders; manage change order processes with transparency and integrity. Ensure timely billing and close-out documentation. Act as the primary point of contact for Owners, Architects, and Engineers, fostering a partnership built on trust. Lead project OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings with professionalism and "Passion & Enthusiasm." Navigate City of Dallas permitting and inspection processes effectively to keep projects on track. Assist in the pre-construction phase, including site visits, value engineering, and subcontractor solicitations. Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies with a resourceful, problem-solving mindset. ABOUT THE CANDIDATE 510+ years of experience in Commercial General Contracting (experience in the Dallas/Fort Worth market is highly preferred). Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record of managing commercial interiors, hospitality, or industrial "ground-up" projects. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Sage). Familiarity with North Texas subcontractors and Dallas building codes/regulations.
