Scheduler Operations Team

Scheduler Operations Team Ganahl Lumber Northridge is seeking a dependable and organized Scheduler to join our Operations team. This role plays a critical part in coordinating daily workflow between sales, yard operations, and dispatch to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build operational experience and develop toward future leadership or supervisory roles within Ganahl Lumber's shipping and receiving functions. Primary Responsibilities Schedule incoming sales orders for pulling and assembly Assist Dispatch with daily delivery coordination Prepare delivery paperwork for the following day Help distribute work assignments to yard personnel Answer phones and support sales staff with order coordination Review and check off completed work orders for accuracy Perform general clerical and operational support tasks Work closely with the second-shift crew to ensure next-day readiness Required Qualifications Strong multitasking and organizational skills High level of dependability and consistent attendance Ability to communicate effectively with operations staff, drivers, and sales teams Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment Preferred Qualifications General understanding of lumberyard operations, shipping, or receiving Experience with AccuTerm or similar order/dispatch systems This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions that the employee may be required to perform, and the employee may be required to perform additional functions.
