Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

One of the most highly regarded neurosurgery programs in Nevada is seeking a driven Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our expanding team. Position Overview & Responsibilities As a Surgical PA or NP on our team, you will experience a dynamic, well-rounded mix of clinical and surgical responsibilities. Schedule: Full-time, permanent Monday Friday schedule. Dynamic Workflow: Spend 2 days per week as a first-assist in the OR on complex spinal and cranial cases. The remainder of your week will be split between seeing pre-op and post-op patients in the clinic and conducting hospital rounds. Call Schedule: Excellent work-life balance with a shared call schedule of approximately 4 to 5 days per month (almost exclusively phone call; in-person response is very rare). Qualifications Previous experience working in a surgical specialty, OR strong clinical rotations in relevant surgical subspecialties as a PA or NP student. Adaptable and comfortable working across diverse clinical environments (OR, clinic, and inpatient). Ability to obtain a Nevada Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
