Details Work in the ICU of an acute care hospital setting ICU patient ratio of 1:3; stepdown ratio of 1:4 Key clinical skills include ventilator management, care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, and management and interpretation of dysrhythmias EMR: Cerner PowerChart; medication system: Omnicell Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required Floating required Requirements Active RN license — TN state or compact license required Current AHA-certified BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required CCRN preferred Prior CCU/ICU experience preferred Proficiency with ventilator management and care of ventilated patients required Experience with Cerner PowerChart preferred Additional Information Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and eligible for a local pay rate Time off requests during holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated — this includes Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; holiday RTO may be discussed directly with the manager after arriving onsite Bi-weekly orientation schedule American Traveler Job ID P-681677.
