Neonatology Physician Assistant

Medical Center northwest of Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced part-time Neonatal Physician Assistant to join their team! Details: Part-time position (24 hrs/weekly) Provide comprehensive care to healthy term and late preterm newborns in a Level I Newborn Nursery under the supervision of a licensed pediatrician The PA is responsible for: Routine newborn assessments Daily management Discharge planning Family education Coordination of care in accordance with AAP guidelines, hospital policies, and state regulations Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits Requirements: Newborn care experience required Prior newborn nursery experience, circumcision experience preferred Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current NC license NCCPA Certified ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within three months of employment date.
