Vending Route Stocker We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Vending Route Stocker to join our growing team in Providence, RI. This is a part-time, 1099 contract position starting at 1520 hours per week, with significant potential for increased hours as we expand our routes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with physical labor, and possesses the business acumen to help drive machine profitability. Compensation and Benefits Base Pay: $20.00 per hour. Commission: 1% of monthly gross sales for all machines generating over $1,000 in revenue. Flexibility: Flexible scheduling from Friday through Sunday, allowing you to manage your time efficiently. Schedule and Location Days: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Note: Wednesday requires availability for a specific shipping/receiving window. Warehouse Hub: 25 Manton Ave, Providence, RI 02909. Route Radius: Approximately a 5-mile driving radius centered in Providence. Key Responsibilities Route Operations: Drive to various locations to restock, organize, and clean vending machines. Inventory Management: Track stock levels using mobile backend software and report purchasing needs following the "one box rule." Logistics: Accept, unload, and organize stock shipments at the warehouse; break down and dispose of cardboard packaging as needed. Quality Control: Ensure all machine pricing is accurate, up to date, and that products are displayed attractively. Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Business Growth: Make proactive decisions to optimize machine performance, as increased profits directly impact your commission. Requirements Vehicle: Must own and operate an SUV or truck suitable for transporting inventory. Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Technology: Must have a modern, working smartphone with reliable cellular service and Wi-Fi. Physical Ability: Ability to lift 60+ lbs consistently and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift. Tech-Savviness: Extremely comfortable navigating mobile apps and inventory management software. Mindset: A "business-first" attitude with the flexibility to adjust your schedule as the route expands.
