Provide critical care nursing expertise in an intensive care unit setting with opportunities to support multiple nearby locations. This contract position offers a focused, 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, working three shifts weekly including weekends. The role requires readiness to float between Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula, each within a 30-minute radius, with notification given 90-120 minutes prior to shifts for assignments outside the primary site. Qualifications and Experience: Current RN license (Florida or Compact accepted) Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale (CERT-NIH) Preferred 5 years of ICU specialty experience with previous travel nursing experience Familiarity with EPIC EMR system Ability to wear navy blue scrubs consistently Willingness to float to appropriate locations as needed Schedule & Hours: 12-hour night shifts 3 shifts per week Weekend availability required No on-call duties Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in pre-shift huddles and coordinate effectively for floating assignments Adhere to all clinical protocols and maintain documentation within the EPIC EMR system Assignment Details: 13 weeks duration Start dates available every other Monday 36 hours per week Contract position with a structured and supportive environment Location: Situated in Lake Wales, Florida, this position offers a serene community known for its natural beauty and warm climate.
