The Labor & Delivery unit features: 16 labor/delivery/recovery beds 5 obstetric triage beds A surgical suite with 3 dedicated ORs for cesarean deliveries Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will deliver holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care to a diverse patient population. Your role encompasses the administration of the nursing process within the frameworks of our professional practice model, maintaining clinical competence while delegating and supervising appropriately. You will report directly to the Unit Manager. Qualifications: Active Connecticut RN License Minimum of 1-3 years of RN experience, with OB experience preferred Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN required, BSN preferred BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (Institute of Living only) We care deeply about your career.
