Position Overview: The Certified Nursing Assistant role supports assigned resident with routine daily activities and nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the supervisors. Use the wristband or photo to identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc., as necessary. Record all entries on flow sheets (ADLs. I&Os, percentage of meals eaten, vitals, bowel & bladder) in an informative, descriptive and legible manner. Record additional entries as requested/required by the charge nurse. Use only authorized abbreviations established by this facility when recording information. Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical. Report all accidents and incidents observed as they occur. Transports residents to assigned locations for activity. Monitor and supervise residents at all times to ensure resident safety. Assist in passing meal trays to residents at meal times. Ensure the correct tray is given to the correct resident. Assist and participate in a hydration program. Assist patients at meal times Qualifications: Highschool diploma or GED Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state National Provider BLS or CPR - American Heart Association upon hire What We Offer: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
