Your Role: As a Registered Nurse in our Ortho Neuro department, you will provide direct nursing care based on established policies and protocols. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Communicating and documenting patient conditions effectively. Coordinating all disciplines involved for comprehensive patient care. Executing physician and nursing orders with precision. Assessing and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team. Demonstrating knowledge and skills to meet the diverse needs of patients. Delegating care appropriately to nursing staff based on their expertise. Participating in interdisciplinary patient rounds to contribute knowledge of patient conditions and improve outcomes. Adhering to nursing practices outlined by the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and ANA Social Policy Statement. Developing and revising individualized plans of care based on patient needs. Pursuing professional growth outside of direct patient care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Associate degree required; BSN preferred. Current RN license in Connecticut. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
