Details Long term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as agreed upon with the Director of Rehabilitation 35 hours per week No weekend or on-call requirements 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered LTC or SNF setting experience required Active Missouri state PT license required; compact license accepted License required if applicable 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, and developing individualized plans of care Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, assistive/supportive devices, and wound care as part of rehabilitation Monitors and documents patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards Provides consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and other care team members regarding physical disorders and treatment plans Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Must adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, including code of conduct and ethics No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested American Traveler Job ID P-680144.
