An excellent opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Med Surg experience to contribute patient-centered care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the chance to enhance your skills on a dedicated home unit starting from orientation and supports both seasoned and first-time traveling nurses with a minimum of 18 months experience. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients. Adhere to best practices and clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize electronic health records systems such as EPIC or Cerner for documentation. Maintain required certifications, including BLS and NIHSS (NIHSS can be completed during credentialing). Participate actively in orientation with assignment to a home unit. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Med Surg clinical experience. Minimum of 18 months nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome. Proficiency with EPIC or Cerner electronic health systems. Current BLS certification; NIHSS certification required or willing to complete during credentialing. Available to work 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
