Schedule 12-hour night shifts; Every other weekend and holiday requirements. Job Description The registered nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Birthing Center and Mother Baby unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for labor and delivery. The role involves working in a collaborative team setting alongside OB hospitalists and neonatology support. Responsibilities Circumventing C-section procedures and guiding patients through recovery. Providing education and support to mothers and families in the postpartum period. Collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and AWHONN standards. Participating in continuous education and training as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery and 1 year in Mother Baby nursing preferred. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required. C-Section experience required; must be able to circulate and recover. Must hold a valid nursing license and meet hospital enrollment criteria.
