Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics Shift: Mid Shift - 5x8 Hours (14:00 - 22:00) Duration: 13 Weeks Location: Claverack, New York Facility Overview This position is within a secure youth residential treatment setting serving male and female juvenile offenders. The facility provides comprehensive medical and behavioral healthcare services to youth in state custody and operates as an accredited correctional healthcare environment. Position Summary The Registered Nurse provides direct and comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients within a secure residential setting. The RN ensures delivery of care in accordance with individualized treatment plans and collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support the health and well-being of youth residents. Key Responsibilities Administer medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and facility guidelines Maintain and monitor medical inventory and supplies Assess, prepare, review, and evaluate nursing intervention plans Monitor and evaluate overall health conditions of youth residents Ensure nursing interventions align with comprehensive treatment plans Maintain infection control standards and compliance protocols Prepare required clinical documentation and administrative reports Participate in staff meetings and training sessions Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary medical treatment team Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York Current registration to practice nursing in New York Experience in pediatrics preferred Ability to work within a secure correctional or residential treatment environment For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
